What is this product?

 

Dycerin Capsule is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis. It lowers pain and inflammation and helps the stiff joints to heal quickly. It may be used alone or in combination with other medicines.

 

Dycerin Capsule is to be taken with food. Take it regularly and at a fixed time each day. It may take few weeks for the medicine to work. Along with taking the medicine, exercise regularly to strengthen muscles around the affected joint and manage your weight. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor.

 

It may cause few common side effects such as diarrhea or discoloration of urine. Regular monitoring of blood sugar level, especially in diabetic patient, is important as it may increase your blood sugar level.

HOW TO USE DYCERIN CAPSULE

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dycerin Capsule is to be taken with food.

HOW DYCERIN CAPSULE WORKS

Dycerin Capsule is a proteoglycan synthesis stimulator. It works by building cartilage (soft connective tissue around the joints) leading to joint repair. It also lowers pain and inflammation (swelling).

Alcohol

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Dycerin Capsule. Please consult your doctor.

 

Pregnancy

Dycerin Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

 

Lactation

Dycerin Capsule is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

 

Driving

It is not known whether Dycerin Capsule alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

 

Kidney

Dycerin Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dycerin Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

 

Liver

Dycerin Capsule is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

 

WHAT IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF DYCERIN CAPSULE?

If you miss a dose of Dycerin Capsule, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
